Progression Program 10-Week Coaching Program

10 weeks to build confidence, understand your surfing and keep progressing.

You’ve had some surf lessons. You know the basics. Maybe you’ve started paddling out the back and trying to catch unbroken waves - or you’re right on the edge of starting to do it.

And now you’re ready for more.

More confidence in the water. A better understanding of the ocean and your own surfing. More clarity around what to work on and how to keep progressing - without feeling like you need an instructor beside you every time you paddle out.

That’s where the Progression Program comes in.

Over 10 weeks, we’ll work on your surf skills, ocean knowledge and confidence - first by surfing alongside you, and then by supporting you as you start putting everything into practice in your own surf sessions.

Weeks 1-6: Surf With Us

We’ll start with weekly in-person surf coaching sessions at Caves Beach.

And we’re keeping this program intentionally small.

4 women + 2 instructors.

This semi-private setup means we can actually see your surfing, understand what you need to work on and give you personalised coaching throughout every session.

We’ll work on things like:

* Paddling technique and board handling

* Catching unbroken waves

* Pop-ups and take-offs

* Positioning in the line-up

* Reading waves and choosing which ones to catch

* Understanding surf conditions

* Ocean awareness and safety

* Building confidence in the water

* Making and trusting your own decisions

* Understanding what you need to work on next

And because becoming a confident surfer is about so much more than technique, we’ll also work with the mindset side of surfing.

The fear. The hesitation. The pressure to “get it right”. The tendency to compare yourself to everyone else in the line-up.

The goal is to make your progression personal to you - rather than chasing someone else’s idea of where you should be.

Video Analysis

One of our six sessions will include video analysis, giving you the chance to actually see yourself surf.

We’ll look at what’s already working, what might need adjusting and where to focus your attention next.

Seeing your surfing from the outside can create an entirely different understanding of what’s happening in the water.

Weeks 7-10: Your Independent Surfing Phase

And then comes the part, which I think is just as important as the lessons themselves.

We stop paddling out with you.

Because eventually, that’s what needs to happen.

You head to the beach yourself. You look at the conditions. You decide whether to paddle out. You work out where to sit. You choose your waves.

And suddenly, all sorts of questions can appear.

Are these conditions okay for me?

Where should I paddle out?

Why couldn't I catch anything today?

Am I sitting in a completely wrong place?

Was that a bad surf... or was there actually something I could learn from it?

This is often the point where women finish traditional surf lessons and are left to figure everything out alone.

We’re not going to do that.

For the final four weeks, you'll move into your Independent Surfing Phase - getting out for your own surf sessions while still having us in your corner.

Your Surf Support Space

You’ll have access to our private group chat from the very beginning of the program.

During Weeks 7-10, that space becomes a more structured part of your coaching.

Each week, we’ll check in on your surfing. You’ll be able to share what happened during your sessions, ask questions, celebrate the wins and bring us the moments you’re unsure about.

We’ll support you through:

Weekly surf check-ins

A chance to reflect on what happened in the water and identify what you want to work on next.

Voice-note coaching

Questions don't always fit neatly into the next lesson. Send them through while the surf is still fresh in your mind and we'll help you make sense of what happened.

Group support

Learn from the other women going through the same transition - because chances are, if you're wondering about something, someone else is too.

Live group coaching check-in

We'll come together during the independent phase to unpack how your surfing is going, troubleshoot challenges and help you decide where to focus next.

This is where your everyday surf sessions become part of the learning.

Because our goal isn't for you to become good at surfing with us beside you.

It's for you to finish the 10 weeks knowing how to paddle out, make decisions, learn from your sessions and continue progressing without us.

Is this for me?

The Progression Program is designed for women who already have some surfing experience and are ready to start progressing beyond the beginner stage.

You don't need to be confidently surfing out the back already.

You might still need support getting there.

But you should know the basic foundations of surfing and feel excited about learning to paddle out, catch unbroken waves and become more independent in the ocean.

If you're completely new to surfing, our Beginners Program will be the better place to start.

Investment - $790

To celebrate the launch of our new Progression Program, the first round is available at $790 before the investment increases for future rounds.

Payment plans available

A note about conditions

Surfing isn't a sport where we can guarantee the same conditions every Friday, and learning to work with that is part of surfing.

We'll aim to run our six in-person sessions over six consecutive Fridays, but the ocean will ultimately decide what we can work on each week.

Some weeks might give us perfect little waves to practise catching unbroken waves and positioning. Other weeks, the surf might simply be too big or unsuitable for an in-water session.

Rather than seeing that as a “missed lesson”, we'll use those sessions to work on skills that can be practised outside the water - things like reading the surf, understanding forecasts and conditions, technique, and mindset.

If conditions aren't suitable for us to safely run the planned session at all, we may need to reschedule. We'll always communicate any changes with the group.
